Trire from ‘Fool’s Paradise’, satirical comedy directed by Charlie Day

Roadside Flix released the official trailer for ‘Cockaigne‘, satirical comedy starring Charlie Day (‘How to kill your boss‘) made his directorial debut. The film is slated to open in US theaters on May 12.

The film centers on an unlucky publicist whose big moment comes when he discovers that a man recently released from a psychiatric facility looks like a method performer who refuses to leave his trailer. The publicist helps the man become a big star and even marry his beautiful leading lady.

Their adventures lead them to cross paths with drunken co-stars, irreverent homeless action heroes, unpredictable directors, super agents and power-crazed tycoons. But fame and fortune aren’t all they should be, and the two men must fight to get back to the things that matter most.

Written and directed by Charlie Day, the cast is led by Day himself, joined by Ken Jeong, Kate Beckinsale, Adrien Brody, Jason Sudeikis, Edie Falco, Jason Bateman, Common, Jillian Bell, Dean Norris, Jimmi Simpson, John Malkovich and Ray Liotta . , in one of his final screen appearances.

Fool’s Paradise is produced by John Rickard, Tim Zajaros, Christopher Lemole, Alex Saks and Rick Dugdale, with executive producers Kirk Michael Fellows, Rob Gough, Manu Gargi and Bob Shapiro.
