Apple TV+ presents the first images of “Manhunt: The Killer Hunt”Miniseries starring Emmy Award winner Tobias Menzies and created by Emmy nominee Monica Beletsky (‘Fargo’, ‘The rest’), who also serves as showrunner. Fellow Emmy nominee Carl Franklin directs the first two episodes, premiering on Apple TV+ on Friday, March 15, 2024. A new episode will be available each week until a total of seven episodes is reached on April 19th.

Based on James L. Swanson’s bestseller Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer, it is a conspiracy thriller about one of the most famous but least understood crimes in history: The series tells the astonishing story of John Wilkes Booth’s search for the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln.

In addition to Menzies, the series also stars Anthony Boyle, Lovie Simone, Will Harrison, Brandon Flynn, Damian O’Hare, Glenn Morshower, Patton Oswalt, Matt Walsh and Hamish Linklater.

“Manhunt: The Killer Hunt” is produced by Apple Studios and Lionsgate Television in association with POV Entertainment, Walden Media, 3 Arts Entertainment, Dovetale Productions and Monarch Pictures.
