“Fantastic Four” continues its name dance. Javier Bardem could be Galactus

Rumors about “Fantastic Four“, a film that will be directed by Matt Shakmany and, according to The InSneider, he could attract Spanish actor Javier Bardem for the role of Galactus. The problem is that there is a scheduling conflict with the Formula 1 film in which he stars opposite Brad Pitt for Apple, which could rule him out of the role. According to industry expert Jeff Sneider, it all depends on the level of motion capture Galactus requires, although Bardem is the favorite for the role, schedule permitting.

Furthermore, the same medium cites the reason why Jake Gyllenhaal is not Reed Richards/Mr. will play. Fantastic in the film. Apparently Gyllenhaal wanted too much money to play the role, something similar happened with Adam Driver, another of the actors who are for a while for the role that Pedro Pascal seems to end up playing. Tim Story’s films from 2005 and 2007 were financially successful, although they were heavily criticized cinematically. Starring Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Michael Chiklis and Chris Evans, the two films grossed $619 million worldwide.
