Disney+ has released the official trailer for “Rushing through the snow“, a holiday family comedy starring Ludacris and Lil Rel Howery, premiering on November 17th on the platform. Described as a hilarious and moving story, the film is directed by Tim Story from a screenplay by Scott Rosenberg.

In the film, Eddie Garrick is a kind-hearted man who has turned his back on Christmas because of a traumatic experience in his childhood. At the request of his ex-wife Allison Garrick, Eddie takes his 9-year-old daughter Charlotte to dinner on Christmas Eve, where they meet a mysterious man in a red suit named Nick. Eddie, a social worker, believes the man is delusional and needs professional help, but when he incurs the wrath of a local politician, he and his daughter embark on a magical adventure that could restore his faith in Christmas.

Teyonah Parris, Madison Skye Validum, Oscar Nuez, Ravi V. Patel, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Gina Brillon, Sebastian Sozzi, Kevin Connolly and Zulay Henao complete the cast of this film, which is executive produced by Story, Johanna Byer, Ross Fanger and Zac Unterman serves, with John Jacobs and Will Packer as producers.
