Paramount+ has released the trailer for“The Burning Girls”a psychological thriller series starring Samantha Morton (‘The Walking Dead’) and Ruby Stokes (“The Bridgetons”), whose story takes place in a city plagued by a dark and turbulent history.

When a vicar and her 15-year-old daughter move to Chapel Croft in hopes of a fresh start, this new life will be nothing of the sort as they discover that the town is full of conspiracies and secrets. The series is set to premiere in the UK on October 19th.

In addition to Morton and Stokes, Conrad Khan, Rupert Graves, Elodie Grace Orkin, Janie Dee, David Dawson, Paul Bradley, Jane Lapotaire, Jack Roth, Mollie Holder, Safia Oakley-Green, Beth Cordingly and John Macmillian complete the cast.

Based on the novel by CJ Tudor, the six-episode series was adapted by Hans Rosenfeldt, directed by Charles Martin and Kieron Hawkes. Richard Tulk-Hart and Tony Wood are executive producers alongside Tudor and Rosenfeldt.
