Trailer for concert film “Beyonce Renaissance Tour” released – The Hollywood Reporter

Beyoncé released the trailer for the concert documentary about her Renaissance World Tour on Sunday evening, the singer’s most successful tour to date.

She debuted the trailer at the final stop of her tour in Kansas City, Missouri. Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and AMC Entertainment announced Sunday evening that the film will be released in theaters on December 1 in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Additional global cities will be announced at a later date.

The official description of the film is as follows: “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé highlights the journey of the Renaissance World Tour, from its inception to the opening in Stockholm, Sweden, to the finale in Kansas City, Missouri. It’s about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of production, her creative spirit and her intention to create her legacy and master her craft. Beyoncé’s outstanding performance during the Renaissance World Tour was met with extraordinary acclaim by international and US media alike, creating a haven for freedom, acceptance and shared joy. Its maximalist production welcomed more than 2.7 million fans from around the world who traveled across oceans to enjoy Club Renaissance. Now millions of moviegoers will take part in the Joy Parade, the monumental dance party that celebrates everyone’s right to be themselves, close to home.”

The singer also posted the trailer on Instagram with the caption, “Be careful what you ask for because I might just comply.” Check it out below.

Ticket sales began on Sunday.

Beyonce previously released a concert documentary on Netflix. This project, Homecomingdocumented their performance at the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

After graduating in July 2022, Beyoncé kicked off her Renaissance World Tour on May 10 in Stockholm, Sweden. She has performed in major cities around the world and performed for millions of people, including celebrities such as Pedro Pascal, Issa Rae, Gabrielle Union, Kelly Rowland and Tracee Ellis Ross and many others. To date, the Renaissance World Tour has grossed $461.3 million billboardbecomes the Highest-grossing tour of all time in the boxscore archives.

Above the line It was previously reported that Beyoncé collaborated with filmmaker Nadia Lee Cohen on a visual album.

News of the concert film comes after Taylor Swift also filmed The Eras Tour documentary with AMC. It was announced that the Eras film will be released in theaters in more than 100 countries abroad in addition to North America, leading up to its domestic release on October 13th. Early North American box office returns for The Eras Tour suggest the film will have a massive opening price of $75 million. Some more optimistic analysts believe opening weekend numbers could top $100 million, with a cap of $125 million.
