Vertical released the official trailer for “The good mother“, thriller with Hilary Swank as a mother searching for answers. Directed by Miles Joris-Peyrafitte (“dreamland‘), with Olivia Cooke, Dilone, Hopper Penn, Norm Lewis, Karen Aldridge and Jack Reynor joining Swank in the cast.
The story follows journalist Marissa Bennings (Swank) who, after the murder of her estranged son, forms an unlikely alliance with his pregnant girlfriend Paige (Cooke) in order to track down the killers. Together they face a world of corruption and drugs in the seedy underworld of a small town in upstate New York. As they get closer to the truth, they discover an even darker secret.
The Good Mother hits US theaters on September 1, 2023.
